The most notable storm was Hurricane Five, which made landfall in what would be Delaware. The most notable storms of the season were Tropical Storm Two, Hurricane Three, Hurricane Five, Tropical Storm Eight, Hurricane Nine, Tropical Storm Twelve, Tropical Storm Fourteen and Subtropical Storm Seventeen.
