Captain Kendra Tissido was captain of the Republic courier ship Quickwit. Prior to the start of the Clone Wars, her ship was attacked by a frigate and five droid starfighters when its crew dropped out of hyperspace to recalibrate its navcomputer settings in Andoan space. She decided to withdraw, and the Quickwit took light damage. After the attack was declared an act of war by Senator Rasit Brun in the Galactic Senate, Lott Dod was quick to attempt to dissuade reports, calling Tissido a "frightened delivery girl".
