Arkenath, a shadow-weaver of sorts, is a human cultist known throughout Kalimdor for his terrible deeds. Formerly a student of the Kirin Tor known by his birthname, Brandon Gilbert, he eventually became infamous upon his rechristening as the devious warlock, Arkenath. Seeking power beyond what the Kirin Tor offered him, he secretely joined Twilight's Hammer cult prior to abandoning his post within Theramore. Overall, Arkenath often expressed his distaste of Jaina's pleasant attitude and the way she handled business. Traveling with other cultists down south near Ahn'Qiraj, Arkenath soon become well-respected amongst his peers for his extraordinary findings of the Old God, C'thun.
