The Firepits area is the most infected of the fiery infernos of the Darklands. Fuse's infection has created "spore pods" around the southwest end of the area and a gigantic one at the center. Fusion Ed is here, and is in charge of Fuse's research on dinosaurs. Fusion Courage is here also and up to no good. Located here in the Firepits is a rare flower called the Flaming Rose, the bloom which A. Kwest and a Darklands woman used to represent their love.
