The battle evidently began when a group of native lesser demons attacked the entrance to TzHaar City, seemingly without provocation. The gate which protected the city's entrance had been crafted only recently by TzHaar-Hur-Bol, one of the city's craftsmen caste. Despite its good quality, it was destroyed in the attack. TzHaar-Ket-Kad, a TzHaar guardsman that was near the gate, immediately responded by attacking the aggressors single-handedly. Without aid, Kad managed to push the demons away from the city entrance, although whether any were killed or seriously injured has not been stated.
