The Sectumsempra Spell (Sectumsempra) is a curse that inflicts deep, potentially fatal wounds in the victim. It was invented by Professor Severus Snape under his alias of "The Half-Blood Prince", in his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
