Mark Roper appeared on Coronation Street as PC Binding, who investigated incidents in December 1997 and June & August 1998. His other credits include roles in Grange Hill, The Bill, Dalziel and Pascoe, Doctors, Law & Order: UK, Silent Witness, Hustle, Inside Men, The Crimson Field and the films Pierrepoint, The Da Vinci Code, Blitz and Les Misérables. On stage he has appeared in productions of View from the Bridge, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Crucible, Pirates of Penzance, Macbeth, Fears and Miseries, A Brusque Affair, Leonardo, Sweeney Todd, Chasing Fate and The Secret Garden.
