The Tontine was a pseudonym used by the rebel crew of the Ghost to evade the Galactic Empire. According to Imperial records, the Tontine was a legitimate VCX-100 light freighter that was allowed to travel between the planets Boz Pity and Lothal. During a job run for Lando Calrissian, the Spectres used the Ghost's signature modulator to mask their ship's signature as the Tontine in an attempt to sneak through the Imperial blockade above Lothal.
