The New Sith Triumvirate was formed in 12 ABY when Darth Kaos discovered the holocron of Darth Slaughtus. Kaos used its teachings to create a new Sith Order, stronger than Darth Bane's Order. He called this the Rule of Three. Three Sith Lords would rule as equals. The New Sith Triumvirate also tried to avoid the mistakes of the original Sith Triumvirate controlled by Darths Traya, Nihilus and Sion.
