Approval for the franchise happened on September 9, 2015. It was originally set to air sometime in the season, but due to a personal accident involving Calaz, and the struggle to run the newly one-year-old show PLWTR, it postponed. A second release was approved in May, but an incident with Wikia Staff led the board to believe that the show was to risky to air, and set the rating to PG with occasional PG-13s. The franchise underwent several names, including "Damned to Survive", "Taxes" (with aired as a seperate spin-off as a test run in January), and "Greener Times". The Kingshire Entertainment Board confirmed the first season in April, and the second in July. Writing has begun on August 7, and seven episodes of the series had been completed by October 5.
