The Statute of National education is a Imperial Decree issued by Catherine II of Russia in 1786 that makes education of middle-class and landowner children aged 5 to 18 compulsory and allows limited geometry and merchantry educational practices for peasant children. The Statue establishes the first Russian educational circulum and also organizes school structure.
