The Matthew Street Festival is a free music festival held annualy in the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. It is also the largest annual free music festival in Europe. In 2006 the festival was held over 4 days from Friday 25th August to Monday 28th August and held over 5 stages in the city centre, including one at the Strand, two at the Pier Head, one on Dale Street, and one on Derby Square.
