Vogue 240; ca. 1940s; ONE-PIECE DRESS. Pleated fish-tail back is held to the skirt at the centre-back, and continues into a front peplum. The bodice joins the very slim line skirt at a low waistline across the back and joins peplum across front. Skirt front is held up by a bodice front lining. The cascading collar is cut in one with the bodice. Choice of two lengths of sleeve.
