Carl greets a stranger called Anna and wrongly assumes she's come for an interview. Carl is rattled that she has an extensive knowledge of Donald, but agrees to allow her to attend the birthday party. At the event, Anna drops a bombshell and reveals herself to be Donald's daughter, shocking Carl and infuriating her father who explains he disowned her because of her money-grabbing husband. Anna tries to apologise and says her marriage is over but Donald refuses to listen. Warning him not to entrust the business to Carl, Anna states the case that she should inherit it instead.
