Greveille Sidney Marler (8 August 1883-4 February 1952) was a surveyor and local politician active in the Barnes area. The son of Sidney Marler of Woolborough House, Barnes, he was educated at Marlborough College before establishing a business as chartered surveyor in Sloane Street, Belgravia. Resident at East Sheen, he became involved in local government in the areas a member of the Barnes Borough Council, serving as mayor in 1937-38. He died suddenly at Victoria Station in February 1952, aged 69.
