Molly, Why would anyone want to develop for the iPhone/iPad? For the same reason that people develop for the Xbox, or the PS3 (particularly services like the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade). This kind of treatment of developers happens all the time in the console gaming development cycle, it just happens behind closed doors most of the time. That doesn’t mean it isn’t wrong, but Apple’s “treatment” of developers is hardly unprecedented and because of that it’s unlikely to negatively impact the number of developers who want to develop for their platforms. Anyway, love the show, and Molly’s rants!
