Nordra was a cold, tectonically-active planet in the Inner Rim Territories. Though located along the famous Hydian Way trade route, it was often bypassed by travelers following the Itani Run that detoured around the nearby Itani Nebula. The mountainous frozen landscape was interrupted around low-lying lakes of lava that reached through the planet's crust. Nordra's inhabitants had built their cities in these warmer areas, and had become a hardy race. During the Galactic Civil War, they dared to openly speak against the Emperor.
