Arthur Malencon was a human hydraulics specialist of the United Federation of Planets' Terraform Command in the 24th century. From 2360 to 2364, he was assigned to the terraforming station Velara Base on the planet Velara III under Kurt Mandl. He was in charge of the hydraulic landscaping. Malencon's death was the first event after the microbrain lifeforms declared "war" on the "bags of mostly water" who populated their planet. (TNG: "Home Soil" ) Malencon was played by actor Mario Roccuzzo. A distressed variant of his costume was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]
