Tesla Miles quickly grew to prominence as a content creator in 2007 for introducing users to the first sculpted prim high heel pumps shortly after 'sculpties' were implemented into Second Life. Tesla's shoes became widely regarded as one of the most notable popular shoe brands in Second Life. Tesla's products were featured in the February, 2009 issue of SL fashion magazine, Avenue. In 2007, Torley Linden gave a shoutout to Tesla Miles in his YouTube video, "Melon Snow" (a parody of Tay Zonday's, "Chocolate Rain" viral video on YouTube).
