Ron Arnold (born August 8, 1937) has been the Executive Vice-President of the Center for the Defense of Free Enterprise since 1984. He is a prolific writer on natural resource issues and one of the most effective adversaries of the environmental movement, according to the Environmental Grantmakers Association, which noted in a 1992 retreat that Arnold had "imposed a language and a set of messages into the grass roots community that is extremely effective."
