The company was founded in 1951 as a manufacturer of small electronic components, for example for washing machines, and started with the engineering of mine detectors in the mid 80s. The US army placed an order of 18,000 detectors in the late 80s.[citation needed] Since the mid 90s, the company is also engaged with constructing UAVs. The company has its factory in Wiener Neustadt. In 2006 in employed about 150 people and had a turnover of about 10 million euros.[citation needed]
