A couple arrives at Midvale Orphanage, intent on adopting Linda Lee. Her efforts to dissuade them fail, and she hesitantly goes with them for a 30 day trial. Soon, however, she grows to like them, only to discover that they're really a pair of swindlers. She returns the money they ripped off to its original owners, then returns to the orphanage.
