The 2008 Dodge Avenger 500 was a Sprint Cup Series event held at Darlington Raceway on May 10, 2008. Kyle Busch nearly knocked down the wall on the repaved track, but that was about the only thing that even came close to giving Busch trouble, as Busch drove away to a 3.115 second victory on Carl Edwards and Jeff Gordon.
