The Anomaly Detection Device, (often shortened to ADD, Anomaly detector or detector), was a computer designed by Connor Temple, that could detect Anomalies in the United Kingdom and later on; the whole Earth. There were two versions - the big main Detector located at the Anomaly Research Centre, and smaller handheld detectors for locating Anomalies out in the field.
