Tom Hammond is the owner of the car dealership in which Hank has bought his cars from for more than twenty years. In the episode The Accidental Terrorist, Hank finds out that Tom had been swindling him, selling him all of his cars at sticker price. Hank's final car from Tom Hammond's car lot was a convertible for his wife. Tom Hammond, when alone with Peggy, attempted to quote a sticker price to Peggy, who was astute enough to do research on convertibles and state that it is sticker price and then haggle. Hank "saved" Peggy by privately speaking with Hammond and ended up paying sticker price, setting up a turn of events where Hank realizes he has been ripped off and begins boycotting the car dealership.
