Joely Mae Geally appeared in Coronation Street in May 2015 as Faye Windass' school-friend Shanisse. She also appeared in the uncredited role of one of the girls bullying Bethany Platt between March and April 2016 and again in July 2016. She trained at the NK Theatre Arts, Stockport from the age of five and The TV workshop drama group from 2012. She has also appeared in short films Origami Amy and The Little Matchstick Girl and had auditioned for Hollyoaks and CBBC prior to this role.
