Jaina Solo was an ace pilot who was dedicated to a life of service. The only daughter of Leia Organa and Han Solo, elder sister of Jedi Knights Jacen and Anakin Solo, and granddaughter of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, Jaina inherited a great mix of Force sensitivity, piloting and mechanical affinity, and diplomatic skill. While her brothers attended their uncle Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy, Jaina opted out, preferring to follow in her parents' footsteps, although she did develop her abilities to a small degree by association. Over time, Jaina accepted Kyp's proposal to become his Jedi apprentice, and worked with him and his starfighting squadron. After completing her training, Jaina returned home to decide what to do with her life.
