The Modern Classic is the eighth full-length studio album by Los Angeles, CA Alternative Rock band Pussycow. According to drummer/album producer Jacques Stephan, "The main concept of The Modern Classic reflects the state of the music industry today. While the CD is dying out, years from now people will look fondly upon the CD and regard the medium as a classic. In other words, the CD is the modern classic. It is our hope that we are also correct in saying this album in particular is indeed a modern classic."
