Born to a litter of two, Plumpaw and Magellan are close friends as well as brother and sister. Left to their own devices much of their lives on part of a frequently absent father and halfhearted mother, the two kits relied on each other for support and (in their later years) protection. An upbringing like that turned Plum into a serious and levelheaded soul...except when she's tussling or out for fun. The kits received basic schooling, which Plum attacked with gusto. She enjoyed topics like Terran Standard, Math, and Computer Operations and strove to excel in them while her brother taught himself the ropes of society.
