Evoldo was a king of the Land of Ev. He was a cruel and impetuous ruler. After purchasing Tik-Tok the clockwork man, and giving him his name, Evoldo sold his wife and ten children (five boys and five girls) to the Nome King in exchange for a long life. Later, regretting this bargain, he locked Tik-Tok in a stone chamber and jumped into the Nonestic Ocean, dying. His 10 children were:
