The faster fire rate can help kill players a bit faster, especially if you're accurate. If you encounter a strong enemy, make sure to have some cover to not get hit. Strafe around the bullets or use cover. The damage isn't particularly high, so strafing is a viable option, but having cover is always good, just in case your health is low.
