DFS-1138 was a Vulture droid in DFS Starfighter Squadron assigned to the Saak'ak. When Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived onboard, DFS-1138 was present in the hangar. Later, when the Jedi's ship was destroyed, DFS-1138 was seen fleeing the hangar with his fellow droid fighters.
