R2-T8 was a scarlet-trimmed R2-series astromech droid in the service of the Jedi Praxeum. R2-T8 was a janitor and recorder droid. He cleaned the living quarters of Jedi such as Aiddat and helped brief them on missions. Occasionally when other astromechs were rendered unfit for starfighter missions, R2-T8 would substitute for them.
