Speed realizes that Cumulus isn't going to keep missing forever. He uses the auto jacks and beats feet out of there with Cumulus in hot pursuit. With a clever ruse, Speed manages to destroy the Mesmo gun with the homing robot. Cumulus takes off with Speed chasing. The Cumulus 5 takes flight. Overhead, Inspector Detector is watching the fun below. Spritle and Chim Chim have stowed aboard. By a fortunate accident, Spritle finds the underwater cave. Speed tries to make an escape, but he's quickly captured.
