Luna Kaftan is the daughter of Magician Kaftan/Junior and Blenda. She is also the soulmate of Death. She was born around the same time as Orb, her half-aunt on both sides, both were named after the moon, and the two girls grew up together under Niobe, her grandmother. She is part of a prophecy that she and Orb will oppose the threads of Fate; one will marry Evil, and the other Death.
