The Acquisition Career Management Information System (ACMIS) is Its intent was to help federal agencies comply with: * Section 37(d) of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (OFPP), which required that each executive agency collect, maintain, and utilize information to ensure effective management of the acquisition workforce' and * the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, which requires that civilian agencies establish policies and procedures related to management of their particular acquisition workforce.
