Before Ichigo lost his powers, he was much stronger than chad. however, since Ichigo has no powers any longer, it is presumed that chad is stronger. Up until Ichigo lost his powers, he was always stronger than Chad, including their human lives before gaining powers (Ichigo saving Chad and his coin). Now, however, Chad's powers make him stronger.
