Lieutenant Scalin Resk was a male Bajoran who lived in the 24th century. Scalin served aboard the USS Robinson in the 2380s. In 2381, Scalin visited the bridge of the Robinson to give Captain Benjamin Sisko an Engineering status report. Scalin was pleased to be in the presence of the Emissary of the Prophets, something which irritated Sisko as he no longer believed that he held that title. Commander Rogeiro disciplined Scalin and informed him to only treat Sisko as his commanding officer and nothing else. (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Rough Beasts of Empire)
