in the few books that IO have read, Han and Leia get married and have 3 children. Luke looks for other surviving Jedi's and opens a school to train young ppl strong with the force. Before getting married Leia is kidnapped and entertains the idea of marrying another m an other than han but in the end chooses him. In another book a planet that has been out of touch with the Empire for 10 years has no idea that the Empire has been defeated and has 3 Star Destroyers and numerous Tie fighters. The alliance then goes to war again to battle the remaining Empire forces
