When Magor's father led many of their people of the House of Marach out of Estolad and further westward of Beleriand towards Hithlum, the land that was given to the Marachians by the Noldorin Elf-lords of the House of Fingolfin. Some of their people followed Magor instead who led many of his father's people into the vales of the southern slopes of the Mountains of [[Ered Wethrin]] west of Beleriand.
