Tresk Mulander was a necromantic Red Wizard and a member of the Researcher faction who was imprisoned, brought to Mantol-Derith in the Underdark by Hadrogh Prohl, and sold to Xandra Shobalar in 1348 where he was kept by her in captivity in Menzoberranzan for two years. During his time in captivity, he learned a great deal about the magic of the Underdark.
