Helmuth James Graf von Moltke (1901 – 1945), better known as James, was a German jurist and the Mentor of the German Brotherhood of Assassins. During World War 2, he became a founding member of the Kreisau Circle, a resistance group, whose members opposed the government of Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany and were a cover for their more secret activities.
