The Park Road Bed & Breakfast was owned by Eunice Gee. Jack and Vera moved in in 1999 after they moved out of the Rovers. When Eunice moved to Spain Vera took over the running of the place - with the help of Tyrone Dobbs who rented a box room and who Jack and Vera drew close to. When Eunice sold the B&B in 2000, Jack and Vera bought back their old home 9 Coronation Street with Tyrone moving in as their lodger. The set was originally a location, but as the setting became used more, the production team replicated the B&B in the studio.
