The Lava Guardian was the protector of Taklit's part of the Infernal Machine. As it was entirely made of lava, no person could harm it with conventional methods. The lava monster swam around in a lava-filled chamber of the Palawan Volcano Temple where it blended easily. When it rose out, it took the shape of a legless torso with clawed hands.
