1946 "The back-buttoning bodice is made with an interesting yoke treatment for the effective use of ruffles or stripes. The skirt, cut in two sections, has a continuous lap back opening. Tie ends join to an inset belt to form a back bow. Style 1 is made with a round neckline and bow. The brief puffed sleeve catches the ruffle motif that trims the bodice yoke. Style 2 has a square neckline and in Style 3 lace edging is whipped to the bodice front and armhole edges. The neckline is round."
