The Uruk (the name of humanity's first known city) class of space destroyers is a class of warships in the UN Armada, first ordered and authorized in FY 2162. Destroyers are middle-weight combatants, faster than dreadnoughts and more heavily-armed than frigates. Cruisers are the standard patrol unit, and often lead frigate flotillas. Destroyers classes in humanity's armada are named after great civilizations or settlements of humanity like UNS Babilon, UNS Qing, UNS Paris, and UNS Mughal.
