The 7 descended into the dark bunker, Lance leading the way once more, but now with his eyes open a bit more, intent on not setting off anymore traps. The doctors and Rhoen followed behind, with Iyra, and a wobbly Taylor holding the rear. As he reached the bottom of the staircase, lance could see a single dim light at the end of the corridor, it was only about 20 feet away, and the hallway ended there. It was clearly the elevator shaft. Lance looked back, noticing Taylor distraught and responded, “You okay?” he asked. “What is it?” Iyra asked. Iyra agreed, “For real, it’s just...eerie.”
