They were chased, captured again and slayed for their mutiny, but their sacrifice was not useless: During the flee attempt they were able to keep her safe entrusting the child to a human farmers family, the Lockjaws, that were also informed about the location of the clandestine weapons factory where they were reduced to slavery together with many other peoples (mainly togrutas, twileks and wookies too).
