The Fleet of Contested Devotion is a Sangheili operated fleet. It is a rather large fleet, with a total of 500 ships. After the Covenant Civil War began, the task forces making up the fleet separated to fight small units of Jirahlnae-controlled ships. However, the fleet was not always of this size - the fleet was only composed of 200 ships up until 2550, when it was expanded to prepare for a tour of duty in UNSC territory.
