Sister Portula was a female mouse of Redwall Abbey and she was a Recorder. She was a great scholar and she kept a library. When Sister Portula and Abbot Carrul were young, they had sailed with the dining table in the pond of the Abbey and they had to had scrub the pans and pots for punishment. Horty often called her "Sis Peculiar". Portula was the first creature to meet Saro and Bragoon, when they returned to Redwall.
